Redevelopment - A beautiful Trap

In one week got couple of calls from couple of distressed members of two different societies , where developer has taken the project for a ride and members are now helpless . What is so amusing is that now a days there's so much awareness about Redevelopment , but still people get trapped by such people, that is truly unfortunate . Most of such societies neither have experienced PMC on their side nor experienced lawyer ...In few cases they have PMC and lawyer but still project has gone haywire , may be committee members are too soft towards a developer  ..  Whatever may the case be , Integrity of the developer should be thoroughly checked before giving any project, and he should be treated equally as a Project Partner ..
