i wonder why mumbai municipal corporations spends money on footpaths ??? no one uses it other than the hawkers or beggars to sleep / shit around.....lol...
there's a problem with people , as so called mumbaikars dont respect footpaths and will always walk on the road....if the width of the road is 60' feet, then 5'ft+ 5ft will be occupied both sides by footpath which no one uses, another 5'ft+5ft both sides will be used by cars for parking , then people will walk in around 2'ft+2'ft width....1'ft is left for divider of the road....lol....remaining space , driver has to manage carefully saving people and his own vehicle.......lol....
the irony is , in elite class areas like nariman point and mantralay , you will never find people walking on road other that footpath , but the same guy when he goes to suburbs he is changed.....lol...
i feel sad for salman khan, he lost the control of his wheel and banged his car on footpath where some idiots were sleeping ..... i wish those idiots were punished and not salman....anyway, just cant help it....the beggars making their home on footpaths, hawkers exploiting them, and biggest culprit is we people who dont walk on footpaths..... i remember when i walk on footpath i feel isolated and feel shy to walk all alone , where people r walking on the road.....
hope BMC stops making footpaths and save lot of money for other better works....as we will never improve....god bless mumbai.....
